The Tyddyn Bach Trust is located in Penmaenmawr, and offers respite care to anyone living with HIV/AIDS, their partners, families and carers, irrespective of their race, gender, sexuality, culture or religious beliefs.
Tyddyn Bach Trust
offers a number of services providing practical and emotional support to those
living with HIV/AIDS in Wales and England along with their partners, family or
children.
The services offered are based mainly at Tyddyn Bach with a outreach program
serving a wider North Wales Community.
There respite care has a relaxed home-from-home atmosphere, Tyddyn Bach has been enjoyed over many years by hundreds of guests, in recognition of which they have received such recent accolades as the "Tree of Life Award" (2000) for Best Respite Centre, and "Team of the Year" (2002).

FUNDRAISING...
Tyddyn Bach Trust is the only centre of its
kind in Wales and England, however they receive no statutory funding from the
Government, and thus rely on voluntary donations and the income generated from
guests to continue operating.

The Oasis, Dwygyfylchi, is home-base for IGO, a Christian inter-denominational Charity which has several hundred ministers and Christian Workers currently working in 32 nations of the world. It also has a number of linked Churches and Christian Organisations. There are 19 members working in various parts of Wales. Many of the members overseas run children's homes, orphanages & schools, care for the sick and needy and especially minister to the street people in the poorest areas in overseas nations. Many also work in prisons both in the UK and overseas. IGO is a member of the Evangelical Alliance in Wales & the UK.

NOWGO (North Wales Gospel Outreach) Regd. Charity 1048524
The Oasis, Dwygyfylchi, is also home-base to NOWGO, of which the Oasis Christian Centre & Fellowship is a part. It has a Tearoom & Christian Book & gift shop in Penmaenmawr and includes a 'missions corner', raising funds to build, maintain and run children's homes and other facilities in the third world. Unwanted items of bric-a-brac are always welcomed at the shop. A number of Christian Groups and Organisations from around North Wales use the Oasis facilities for their special events and a ladies luncheon is held on the first Wednesday of every month to which all ladies are invited. Nehemiah Bible Training Centre is also based at the Oasis and has more than 600 students, and a number of Bible Colleges, mainly in Africa.
